This presentation suggests how technological tools at UCIrvine can leverage the time and location of student learning. We will discuss about where and when students traditionally receive and process new information and where and when the faculty is available to provide feedback. By shifting the presentation of new material to outside the classroom, faculty are then able to use classroom time to provide immediate responses to students on their ability to work with that new material. We will spend a few minutes discussing how technology can facilitate this shift.
