T-Mobile HotSpot@Home is a mobile phone and wireless service that work
together to provide great coverage and unlimited nationwide calling. The
@home add-on service will provide no charge (unlimited calling) for
calls initiated via open or secured campus Wifi or T-Mobile Hotspot
locations.
UMA (Unlicensed Mobile Access) capability, available on our UMA enabled
Blackberry Curve or UMA enabled phones provides enhanced coverage and is
an out of the box feature that doesn't require the add on feature for
unlimited calling. Users can add the unlimited calling feature as
needed, otherwise the voice minutes will pull from user's voice plan.
This service is an industry changing technology and is a perfect
solution for staff and faculty at UCI.
